Monaro Folk Society Members' Web Site
Welcome to the Monaro Folk Society (MFS) members' web site. The MFS maintains two sites, a public site and this site, the members-only site.
Most information about the MFS is available from the MFS public web site. This includes all events information.
However there is some information that is restricted to members- only, either because it is a benefit of membership, or is in the nature of internal discussion, committee minutes, members-only contact details, etc. This information is published on this members-only site, not on the public site. All other information is published on the public site and not duplicated on this members-only site.
For quick reference to this site, please make sure you are logged in then see the alphabetical Index in the navigation pane to the left.

Logging In
Before you can access this site, you need to be "Logged In".
If you see your user name and "log out" when you scroll back to the top of your screen, you are logged in:
Otherwise, you will see "log in / create account" at the top of your screen and you need to log in by clicking on "log in / create account":
Enter your user name and password, and click "Log In":
Please note that the user name and password both need the correct upper and lower case. "lancec" won't work if your user code is LanceC for example.
If you know your user name but not your password, click on "E-mail Password" and your password will be emailed to you. Please note in passing that you can change your email address and password in "my preferences":
If you have forgotten your user name, you can click on Special Pages:
then "User List", and look for your user name in the list.
Creating Accounts
If you are a current financial member of the Monaro Folk Society, and have not yet created an account, please follow these simple steps now:
1) Think of a user code for each MFS member covered by the membership. Most users have used their Given Name, followed by the first letter of their Surname, eg LanceC. Capitalisation is important, so don't request lancec if you want your user code to be LanceC.
2) Email the MFS membership secretary team <membership(at)mfs(dot)org(dot)au> and advise them of your chosen code(s) and your full name(s)
3) You will receive an email back from the membership team when your account is created.
