Annual General Meeting

Notice is given that the Annual General Meeting of the Monaro Folk Society will be held on Thursday 17th September, 7.30 to 9.30 pm at St Margarets Uniting Church hall, Hackett. Map

All members are encouraged to come along and participate.

The Annual General Meeting will consider the confirmation of the minutes of the last AGM, reports presented by current office bearers of the Society, the Society's Financial Statements for the 2008/9 financial year, election of a new committee and any other business proposed by members.

The following office bearer positions will be open for election:
President
Vice-President
Treasurer
Secretary
Public Officer
Five General Committee Member positions

Members who wish to nominate for any of the above positions should submit to the secretary a letter nominating them to the position signed by two financial members of the Society prior to the commencement of the AGM.

Members who wish to propose amendments to the Rules of Association of the Society must have submitted their proposal in writing with the signature of two financial members of the Society to the Secretary prior to COB 30 August 2009
