HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
COLONIAL BALL AT THE ALBERT HALL
The Monaro Folk Society’s 29th annual Colonial Ball will be held on Saturday 25 July 2009 at the Albert Hall, Canberra. Music will be by Stringfiddle with a pre-ball welcome drink from 7:30pm and dancing from 8pm to 12am, including a break for a fully catered supper.

FEATURED ACTIVITIES
- BUSH DANCE WORKSHOP
Monday 27th July, 8pm till 10pm, at All Saints hall, Ainslie. The Monaro Folk Society's very popular Bush Dance Workshops. Music is by the Bush Capital Band and all dances are taught. Your first night is a free trial.
- IRISH SET DANCE WORKSHOP
Wednesday 22nd July, 8pm till 10pm at Canberra Seniors Centre, Watson Street, Turner. These weekly classes cover the more common steps, moves and dances and are suitable for beginner and intermediate dancers. You do not need to bring a partner!
