The Monaro Folk Society is a Canberra-based non-profit community organisation that promotes active participation in the arts and community and social activities. The MFS is open to anyone who wants to be part of promoting and running, or simply enjoying, performance and dance.

Highlight of the Week
The highlight of this week will be the big public Bush Dance with music by Woolies Home Band. The bush dance will be on at St Johns Church Hall, Constitution Avenue, Reid from 8 to 11:30 pm on Saturday 27 June 2009.
Featured Activities
Everyone is welcome to learn lively dances to live music, at Bush Dance Classes every Monday night, 8-10PM at the All Saints Church Hall in Cowper Street Ainslie. The last class for the current term is on Monday 29 June, so why not go along and join in this end-of-term party night?
On Wednesdays all are welcome at the Senior Citizens club in Turner to learn Irish Set Dancing. 8-10PM every Wednesday.
