DANCING ABOUT WITH THE MONARO FOLK SOCIETY

MEDIA RELEASE FOR THE WEEK BEGINNING WEDNESDAY 8 JULY 2009

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

- CONTRA DANCE

The highlight of this week will be the Contra Dance at St Margaret's Church Hall in Hackett at 8pm on Saturday 11 July 2009, with music by the Canberra Contra Club Ensemble. This is a special dance as it is the 4th anniversary of the foundation of the Canberra Contra Club.


FEATURED ACTIVITIES

- CONTRA DANCE WORKSHOP

This Tuesday 7th July there will be the Contra Dance at St Margaret's Church Hall in Hackett from 7.30 to 9.30pm to live music. No dancing experience is necessary as all dances are taught, and your first night is free.

- OTHER MFS DANCE GROUPS

Please note that the Bush dance and Irish Set dance groups are in recess during the ACT July school holiday period and will resume in the week of 20th July.
