The Wednesday Night Music Group is a versatile group. It is both an open session group and a couple of dance bands.

By having a mixture of experience levels and usually largish numbers at performances it provides newer players with the opportunity to gain experience playing in a group environment, with a full PA system.

Most "gigs" of the Wednesday night music group are for MFS dances but the group also runs Bush Dances for organisations and individuals outside the Monaro Folk Society.

The group performs under various names:- sometimes as MFS Big Band, or if Peter Foster is calling the dances - Woolies Home Band. The Wednesday night group Coordinator is Bob Hodgson at 6255-2189; as Woolies Home Band the Coordinator is Peter Foster at 6231-2245.

The Advanced Music Group meets every Wednesday evening in member's homes, rotating monthly.

For this months venue please call Peter 6231-2245, or Bob 6255-2189.
